We're partners in Make Music Gloucestershire, the county's music education hub: a network which brings together organisations and individuals across the county, including schools, to help more young people learn and make music in Gloucestershire.
With funding from the hub and Glocuestershire Healthy Living and Learning, the Songwriting Charity has partnered with a number of schools across the county to run term-long Vocal Projects culminating in a live performance and professional recording & music video.
Below is a highlights reel from the projects in 2016 and here is a playlist showing all of our work with the Hub.
If you think your school would like to do something similar, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The Hub schools, music education organisations, community musicians, music leaders, and others. Together, as a hub, we create, promote and fund opportunities for young people to make and learn music in response to recommendations in the Government's National Plan for Music Education; work together to improve and develop the quality of music education and champion music education.
The hub is led by the County Council, and key partners include: ourselves, Gloucestershire Music, The Music Works, Cheltenham Music Festival, Cotswold Music Tutors, Gloucestershire Academy of Music & Groove On.
