The Nathan Timothy Foundation - the Songwriting Charity, provides songwriting programmes that enhance and support children's learning and wellbeing.
Our songwriting workshops present ALL children with opportunities to collaborate with their peers, write songs and perform.
The next couple of pages will offer examples of the kind of ways you can get involved, from donating money, time, sponsoring the purchase of equipment or room hire, to supporting whole programmes for a year.
£10 - £50
A regular gift of £10 - £50 per month can help us do a lot. For example, costs incurred for inputting valuable data from our evaluation forms, or to pay for the production of printed certificates for our young songwriters, or even help towards individual hourly rates for supporting session workers who are vital to our workshop delivery. We can’t shy away from the fact that we do need support to help us with administrative work, like fees for disclosures, reporting work for funders, expenses related to the delivery of our work, new apps for workshop use, and necessary software and hardware upgrades.
A regular gift of £50 per month would enable us to reimburse the expenses of two volunteer team members supporting our workshop leaders and gaining valuable experience along the way.
Would help us bring in a session worker for a full day to assist our specialist workshop leaders and provide even more group and one-to-one support during our workshops.
Creative arts and enrichment is under threat in our schools and just £500 would help us to work with up to 30 children so they can write and perform their own original song on bullying, world peace, kindness, or transition from primary to secondary school, boosting their confidence and self-esteem.
