Kat Marsh, freelance Workshop Leader (South West & Wales)
Kat Marsh is a singer, songwriter and musician based in Bristol. She trained as a music leader at Plymouth Music Zone in 2007, working with children and adults of all ages and abilities for three years.
Between 2010 - 2012 she played bass for London band The King Blues, touring the UK and Europe extensively, including a sold out show at the Roundhouse and festival appearances at Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and Bestival. Kat also scored writing credits on the final King Blues album, Long Live The Struggle, recorded in LA with Grammy-nominated producer John Feldmann.
Following The King Blues' split in 2012, she began writing, recording and performing adrenalin-charged alt-pop music under the name Lionface. Since 2013 she has released four EPs of brand new music and is currently writing the Lionface debut album. (The main Lionface link is http://www.youtube.com/lionfacemusic)
Kat has also developed a career as a vocalist, recording on albums for a diverse range of bands, including Eliza and the Bear, We Are The Ocean, Martin Grech, Mike Dignam and GUNSHIP. Most recently she led and arranged the choir, on behalf of Parallax Orchestra, for world-renowned metal band Bring Me The Horizon's career-defining show at the Royal Albert Hall.
