Paul Richards - Freelance Workshop Leader, London & South East

Paul is a singer, songwriter and composer based in Aylesford, Kent. He has a diverse range of experience working with people of all ages in both education and community settings, performing in bands, choirs and orchestral ensembles as well as writing music for artists and theatre groups.
Since 1999 he has been the lead vocalist, pianist and songwriter for the rock band One Day Elliott, with whom he has toured extensively both in the UK and in the USA, with bands such as Feeder, Ash, The Fall, Gary Numan and many others.
In the summer of 2012, Paul was the musical director for the Olympic torch relay event at Leeds Castle in Kent, a televised concert performed to over 8000 live audience members.
He also graduated in 2012 with a first class BA (hons) in commercial music from the university of Westminster where he now lectures and is in the final stages of his music PhD.
Paul loves working with anyone of any age to create music. He joined the Songwriting Charity team in 2015.
